Sustainable Arts Foundation and the Middle Room Gallery are thrilled to present visual artists Dina Abdul Karim and Kaitlynn Redell together with writers Nydia Armendia-Sanchez and Julia Kolchinsky joining Nancy Reddy, author of the new book The Good Mother Myth, to speak about their creative practice, the intersection of motherhood and creativity, and the idea of “the good mother.”
This talk is part of The Middle Room’s Mythology/Matriarchy, a group exhibit of allegorical works centered on otherworldly and powerful female protagonists.
We’ll have a reception with drinks and snacks after the talk. RSVP here to grab your (free!) ticket.
